Tour game One.
Unfortunately, the cricket gods were not in Wanderers’ favour today. All out for 87 (😈👹), a score that was never going to be good enough on a wicket drying out during the morning.
MJ Toolis and Leigh Drennan worked hard early and Harry Carroll top scored with 25. However some excellent bowling by Nick Lotarski (4/6 from 7.1 overs) and skipper Asher Colley (2/10) meant that no-one else really got started.
Asher Colley also backed up with the bat with a quick fire 40 from 31 deliveries to see Capricorn Coast home by 7 wickets.
The Sharks batted on to make 159; Frederick Lee Watts the pick of the bowlers with 3/15 from 6.
After the match, Ian Healy regaled the local faithful with some tales of the past and present.
