Wynnum resumed on Day 2, 68 runs ahead. Matt Robinson was the first to breakthrough in the 4th over of the day, when Abhijeet Mahoorkar held a sharp chance at mid-wicket, bringing the 91-run 6th wicket partnership to a close.
Matt made it 7fa in his next over, but from that point, the Wynnum batsman consolidated in a 38 run 8th wicket stand. Greg Lightbody brought that partnership to a close with the score on 179; Nav Kahlon getting under a swirling high ball.
A further 13 runs were added before Wynnum declared their innings closed at Drinks; 129 runs ahead.
The Maestros second innings was a stark contrast to the debacle of week one. Robinson and Kahlon provided a solid opening stand of 33 and Robbo went on to play a fine anchor role, partnering with Michael Strudwick for 36 and Matthew Taviani for 44. mentions must be made of an entertaining 10 (six and a four) off 8 balls from evergreen Michael Cooling.
Maestros finished the day at 6/147.
