Ohhh come on! Four lost tosses in a row? Call heads…Jeez!

Nav Kahlon and Matt Taviani started pretty well taking the score to 38 before nonefa became twofa. A 67 run partnership from just 72 balls between Campbell Farrelly (43) and Taviani (52) took the score to 2/105 in the 24th (and cruising). Then the wheels fell off! 8/66 and all out 171.

171 was not enough against Wynnum Manly two weeks previous and it proved so again. A solid opening stand of 63 in 15 overs was followed by a 35 run 2nd wicket partnership before the opener succumbed to cramp and retired hurt in the 23rd over. By then four catches had found the grass and more were to follow. A couple of wickets in the 31st over including a spectacular, direct-hit, run out from the outfield by Farrelly to remove the dangerous Thienu Chandrasekaram, breathed life back into the game. Wickets to Will Whatmore in successive overs made it 5fa, but with only 12 runs to get in four overs. Napoleons only needed 10 balls to complete the task.
